Kerry-based FiorSó has launched an exclusive new collection at Brown Thomas as part of the CREATE 2024 initiative.
This programme, now in its 14th year, highlights exceptional talent from 26 designers across Ireland in fashion, handbags, accessories, and jewellery.
FiorSó’s Journey to CREATE 2024
Sara Ross, a former lawyer with experience in London and Shanghai, founded FiorSó in 2021 after relocating to Kerry in 2016. Initially continuing to commute to London for work, she later decided to pursue her passion for jewellery design, leading to the creation of FiorSó.
Reflecting on being chosen again for the CREATE programme, Sara expressed her pride:
“We’re delighted to be invited back to Brown Thomas for a third year to participate in Create 2024. As the only Kerry-based brand selected we’re excited to represent our fabulous county on the national and international fashion stage.”
The TROPICANA Collection
This year, FiorSó introduced the TROPICANA collection, exclusive to Brown Thomas until August 11. The collection features intricately designed gold and hand-enamelled earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and rings. The pieces are inspired by tropical themes, showcasing butterflies and geometric shapes in vibrant ombre tones. Sara Ross highlighted the collection’s reception:
“The reaction has been amazing, especially for the butterfly pieces. I think they’re so unusual and there’s nothing else out there like them, they’ve been really popular!”
Availability and Distribution
The CREATE 2024 event, running until August 11, provides a platform for FiorSó’s TROPICANA collection at Brown Thomas, Level 3, Create 2024 Room on Grafton Street, Dublin.
Additionally, the collection is available for national and international delivery via the Brown Thomas website’s On Demand service. FiorSó’s other collections can be purchased directly from their website and at select locations including Original Kerry Dingle and Strand House Dingle.
